# Email Notifications

Teambook offers an optional email notification service for: 

1.  **Users to be notified** of their upcoming planning, their planned mid-term capacities and/or the need to fill in their timesheet
2.  **Project managers to be notified** of the planning on "their" projects (ie the ones where they have been entered as "project manager"

Note: emails will be sent to the [mail address](https://kb.teambookapp.com/en/article/changing-password-email) entered in the user's profile, provided that this information has been entered! 

### User's notification: 

User may request to be notified:

1.  When their **operational planning** has been updated in the "near future" (ie 2 weeks ahead), either **immediately** or **daily**
2.  About their own **capacity planning**  for the upcoming months. User can choose **when to receive** this information. 
3.  To remember to **enter their time log** for the past months. User can choose **when to receive** this information. 

User's email notifications can be activated:

1.  either in the **user profile**, that is accessed by clicking on the user's **Name** in the top right corner.![](https://cdn.filestackcontent.com/LaF042RcQxuhiPOzEPEx)
2.  Or, in the **user edit menu** (say, when the admin or planer person centrally manage the feature).

### Project manager's notification: 

Project manager may request to be notified daily in case of bookings entered/edited/deleted on a project for which s/he has been entered as Project manager.  

Email notifications can be activated in the **Project**, tab **Advanced**
