# Analytics and Reporting

The **Analytics** section provides several tools to review and analyze data across Teambook. While the **Dashboard** welcomes you on the landing page, you may use the toggle on the right side to switch to **Reporting**.

### Dashboard

The landing page displays a **dashboard** that includes different highly visual elements. 

Note that the **visual settings** allows you to choose the ones you want to show :

-   **Predefined** [key performance indicators](https://kb.teambookapp.com/en/article/productivity-utilization-and-availability-kpi-metrics) (**KPI)** and **“Top 5 / Low 5” indicators**,
-   A **utilization graph** and **key statistics**, offering a quick view of team performance and trends.
-   **Graphical overviews**
-   **Summary table** – an overview of the main figures in tabular format.

### Reporting

The button on the right is your access to the **Reporting** area for more detailed analysis:

### General comments

The following comments are relevant for both the dashboard and the reporting.

Firstly, data from any Teambook module can be displayed in Analytics. ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/292a8232-501f-4ec5-9749-6070315a5d05)

Use the selector on the right to choose between:

-   **Planning data**
-   **Actuals**
-   **Capacity data**
-   **Actual vs. Planning comparison**

The displayed time period can be adjusted using the **date picker** in the top-left corner. Available ranges depend on the data type:

Data can be **filtered** as needed (available filters depend on the data displayed):

Last, the **Export button allows you to** [downloads records (bookings, capacity, actuals) in Excel format](https://kb.teambookapp.com/en/article/export-records).
